We’re looking for a talented and experienced Sr. Graphic Designer with 7 years minimum of demonstrated agency or design studio experience. You can create unique solutions with art, color, shape, typography, photography, and space. As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will straddle the graphic design and visual components of your role together with managing a small team of junior graphic designers while working closely with our Creative Director in the Waterloo office. Your solutions are interesting, compelling, memorable, and relevant – which drives results for clients. Our chemistry is lean and keen, blending fresh creativity with strategic thinking. Your Role

  • Providing visual, creative and conceptual direction to the creative department for all digital, email, social media, advertising (traditional print to non-traditional experiential marketing), and more
  • You operate in a manner that is meant to lead the way and inspire junior creatives to build intuitive user experiences that put the consumer experience first across all of our marketing efforts
  • You’re capable of building strong relationships within the creative department and communicating with thought leadership in both offices to create a cohesive and collaborative environment.

  • Create unique, leading-edge design solutions in the following areas of creative development:
    • brand identity design
    • advertising campaign design
    • corporate design
    • web design
    • environmental design
  • Digitally publish your projects from start to finish, following the internal processes for using our project management software and server filing structure
  • Design and direct the development of online projects for both desktop and mobile applications
  • Interact with clients during kickoff meeting, brainstorms, and creative pitches


Your Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in an advertising and/or design firm
  • You have a degree or diploma in design
  • You have experience leading a multidisciplinary team that includes design, copywriting, project management and web development
  • Strong use of Mac OS and all Adobe products
  • Thorough understanding of print terminology, traditional media, and digital media
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
